The Chittenden Group was founded in 1972 when George A. Chittenden, his wife Fran and two sons, David & Dale moved to Arizona from Maine.  From a start up operation in January 1973 to today the Chittenden Group, currently with GFSC, Inc, Financial Alternatives, Inc and Chittenden Insurance Agency, LTD as its primary operating entities, has grown to be one of the largest wholesale brokers in the Southwest. George and Fran have retired and the agency is run today by David and Dale Chittenden.  We\’re proud to say that we work with over 2,000 licensed agents throughout Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Nevada. As a wholesale broker our goal has always been to research, evaluate and provide a growing number of independent licensed agents with the finest and most competitive Life, Disability, Long Term Care, Health and Annuity products available to fulfill their clients\’ needs.  In order to provide our brokers with the best products and practices, we have joined several national marketing groups of other wholesale brokers across the country.
